Question:

If your trying to lose weight is it good to?

Is it good to do like ten squats (no weight) every couple of minutes? Or is it good to do for losing weight when you are around the house, if so are there other thing I can do while I'm in the house?

  1. The best thing you can do to lose weight is increase how many calories you are using throughout the day. You are totally on the right track with wanting to start by doing things around the house to make you more active. Try to walk around more, do squats while talking on the phone, get down on the floor and do some crunches and pushups while watching tv, dance while listening to music, etc!

    As for the squats, is there a reason why you want to do so many? You don't really need to be doing them as often as you say. Now, I'm not sure if you're male or female. If you're female you don't need to worry about getting huge muscles unless you're taking steroids. :-) And if you're male, you might get some bulk from doing that many squats. Remember that even if you're not using extra weight, when squatting your muscles are lifting your entire body weight!
