  1. some bars allow you to be 18. But if you are 17, most likely not.

  2. some bars yeah but the ones I go to u have to have a parent with u. Me & a friend went to a bar 1 time & they had a concert, but they said if we wasn't drinking we had to go. We are both old enough she's 23 I'm 22. but all bars are different.

  3. does it depend on the state you live in? Here in Northern California minors are allowed in if it is a place that is serving food at the time of the event.

  4. Depends on the bar but some bars do allow you in but most only allow you there till a certain time which is usually around 9-10 pm.

  5. It depends on where you go.  If the concert takes place in a place that's main purpose is to serve as a bar, they will probably not allow you to be there unless you are 21.

  6. I'm 20 now and i look about 17 or 18, lol ^_^ but it's usually not a big deal, when they ask you for your ID (if they do...) It's usually to show them that you're 21 to get a wristband to drink. I just always say "I'm Under" and they mark an "X" on both of your hands just so security can watch out to make sure nobody underage is drinking or going to the bar to order. It's never a big deal. I still do this because my ID got stolen and I don't have a new one yet. ^_^ So yeah, most likely, they will just mark your hand or give you an underage wristband. No biggie! I go to shows all the time. And if you decide to go with your family, you should definately be in the clear if your parents are there anyway.

P.S. What show are you going to!?

  7. Yes and no. It depends on the bar.

Some bars only alow you to go in if your 21.

Some bars stamp your hand and allow you to go in but not drink.

Some bars ask for ID before every drink you order.

Most concerts that you cannot go to because your not 21 will say (over 21) on the place where you buy them, the tour list, and myspace or whatever.

check out the venues website, but I would guess not.

  8. This is in the USA right? I don't think you can go to a bar because it's a licensed venue and it would be illegal for them to let you in, although some bars are flexible during the daytime (before 4pm or so) if you're with family and aren't going to drink. Some concerts are licensed to be all ages though, so make sure you check before you turn up!

  9. Depends on the bar. Some are 18 to get in but 21 to drink.

  10. I think it depends on the place, if it has a bouncer out the front then no, but coz its your local cafe / bar, you should be perfectly allowed to go, you just cant buy alcohol.

  11. u need to be 18 yrs old

  12. Maybe you can consider going to a "Juice Bar" if all else fails.

  13. no not always

sometimes you just need an adult or an i.d

  14. That depends on the local laws.  Some states allow people 18 and over to be in bars only with a parent or legal guardian.  Others states say kids have to be out of the bars by a certain hour.

The only thing I can suggest is trying to go, but don't get too upset if you aren't allowed.

    Happy Birthday.

  15. It depends. You should call the bar ahead of time and ask, but a lot of places will give you a stamp or a wristband to indicate you're underage, and let you in. Good luck, hope this helps! :)

  16. I think you have to be at least the age of 21 years old to go to a bar, call over to the bar and ask how old you have to be to enter their bar.

  17. if it's with ur parents usually u can go in.
