  1. yup in the United states you do

  2. If you're in the United States and under 18 then you need your parents with you to sign a consent for if you want to get any type of piercing/tattoo. Also, most places won't do cartilage piercings, body piercings, or tattoos if you're under 16.

  3. it depends what country your in .. im from england and all we need to have is a parent to sign a consent form. but where as in america they asked for proof of my age, 1 of my parents to be there and proof that they're my parent ..

  4. Yes, I think, and some shops won't even do it if you have a parent with you.

  5. My stepsister came up to visit last year... (She lives w/her mom and her dad lives here near me).  Anyways, she's 15 and wanted to get her belly button pierced.  Her dad took her to the piercing place and they refused to do it.  They said that she had to be 16 with parent's permission, 18 to do it without parental permission.  15 and under they could not provide the services too.  She was really upset... But oh well.  :)

  6. Yup.  18 in most states.  17 in others.
