If your daughter didn't want an abortion and you didn't a crying baby in the house, can you send them to a state childrens home?

This is hypothetical by the way.

  1. a crying baby in the house would be a stupid reason for kicking her out but if she didn't listen to you or sneaked out with her boyfriend or caused trouble and probelms and wants more babies then it be a good idea for kicking her out think about it doesn't make you a bad person or bad word it just make it look like you werent thinking good reasons and YES YOU CAN KICK HER OUT THE FIRST PERSON ON THIS PAGE FOR YOUR ANSWERS WAS OBVIOUSLY RETARED AND DIDNT KNOW THE LAWS ON THIS TOPIC

You would be responsible for her until she's eighteen.  I know some people are pro-choice but how could a parent push for the termination of their grandchild?  Even if you could, it probably sends a bad message in parenting by kicking your pregnant child out of the house.  That would be teaching her that it would be okay to toss her own child out someday.  If my daughter was in that situation, she would get a hardcore lesson in child care 101 as she would be the one doing all the work.  I am done raising babies.

  3. I wouldn't be quick to judge the parents for doing that.  If that girl has given them nothing but grief, she may need that to grow up.  Tough Love can work wonders.

    Remember, this teenage girl swore up and down to her parents about how what she does is none of their business, so, by that line of thinking, it's none of their business to support her.  She should no longer depend on her parents for ANYTHING.

    My mom told me if I ever got pregnant, I couldn't raise it at home and she wouldn't pay for an abortion.  Since I was smart enough to realize I couldn't raise a baby, I had only one other option.  So I didn't have s*x until after I was 18.

  4. No. You are still their guardian until the age of majority. Some states allow the child to become emancipated in such a situation, but the parents can't kick them out.

    Our children don't always make wise decisions, and if they became pregnant while underage, then it is their responsibility to become responsible and take care of their child. We don't take on the responsibility but in fact we guide them in making better decisions, and help them when the need arises.

    Again, we do not assume the responsibilities, only guide them in the right direction!!!!

  9. Depending on the state, some states will let you emmancipate the child but it would be wise to talk to a lawyer because unless the child is fully emmancipated then the parent is responsible for all actions the child takes.

  13. You could, if you were a completely useless parent.  Mind you, that would explain why the girl got pregnant in the first place....

  14. No because you are obligated to support your child until the age of majority, which is most commonly 18 (or 21 in some localities).  Therefore if you "kicked them out" you would probably be liable for criminal sanctions(child neglect) and have to pay child support.

  15. I don't know.  But I do know that parents who do such things, at possibly the worst time in their child's lilfe and at a time when they are needed the most, are not fit to be parents.

    The girl should have the right to kick their parent out in a position like this. No parent is fit if they cannot accept their own blood
