If your using a 32 in HDTV as a PC monitor is the quality lessened since the native resolution is lower than that of a regular PC monitor if so is it almost the same or a big difference.

  1. I think if you are going to use Internet or word processing, you will notice big difference, but if you watch movies or play games, it will look great.

    Ensure you configure the HDTV wiht its native resolution.  1920x1080 or 1280 x 720.

    Recommend DVI or HDMI connection.


  2. Well BOTH can actually get up to 1920 x 1080, but like you said the NATIVE resolution of your TV set is LOWER than that of a regular PC monitor....

    So that must mean your PC monitor's NATIVE resolution is actually better than your TV set's resolution....

    And if that's true then you will get more detail from your monitor...

    However I will also bet your TV set is LARGER than your monitor is, am I correct?

    That means you get larger picture on it....

    And that might mean you see more SMALL STUFF coming at you from the deep dark crevices of the Living h**l Hole you're playing in.....

    So when it really comes down to it, only YOU can decide which one is more effective in playing your games....
