If youre high and get a tattoo....?

Im wondering has anyone ever been high while they are getting there tattoo and do you feel less pain ?

I don't think that any decent tattoo artist would tattoo you while you're high.  I also think you would be a total pain in the butt, moving, squealing etc...just grit your teeth and bare it, it's not even that bad.

It depends on how you are when you are high. I personally would be freaking out the whole time I was being tattooed, fidgeting around and whatnot. I think the pain would actually intensify for me. Depending on what spot on your body you are getting tattooed you really have to focus on breathing deeply and I think that would be hard for me if I was high. Also, most decent tattoo artists will not tattoo you if they know you are high.

I was drunk when I got my tattoo, I don't think it really made the painless or less pain- I just impossible to stay still and pay close attention to what the tattoo artist is doing or to make good decisions.  I let him talk me into a hot pink playboy bunny- yeah, not the smartest thing I have done in my life.

Most places (respectable places) wont tattoo if you are under the influence of DRUGS or alcohol.  so yeah I would nt even try it....besides if you are gonna get a tattoo go for the whole experience and feel the pain.........

Much more likely to get a stupid tattoo that way. And fidget more, so it can be wonky too.

And depending what you're on it can thin the blood, so its bleeds more, and possibly cause a few problems with the ink...

Same goes if you're drunk, or taken certain sorts of painkillers.

I don't know any artist that would tattoo someone when they were high.

I would imagine the pain would be less, but you never know.  Same thing with the whole getting drunk and tattooed, you think it would be better but it worse.

All depends on who it is and how much you smoked and where your getting it done on your body.

been there a time or two in my younger years, and it sucks. I don't recommend it. You know when your all tore up and you zone out on things, well imagion zoning out on the sensation of getting the tattoo, and it highens the pain. Suck it up and go in sober, it will be a better experience all the way around.

And no, i didn't get a stupid tattoo, that happens when people just walk in the shop and point and say, I Want That One. then you end up with something lame. I had my tattoo planned weeks ahead of time and prepped with the artist LONG before i ever got in the chair.

Might be less pain but still a bad idea. It can effect the way the tattoo heals. Plus you might make a bad decision about what to get or be unable to hold still. Just a bad idea all around.

no, weed usually enhances your sense of feeling. it'll probably hurt more.

but try a little alcahol before you go, you probably wont notice it as much.
