the suit is a 28 but it is just a little big and it is supposed to be tight so I would need to shrink it down to about a 26.

  1. You're out of luck.  Those suits, if anything, stretch out.

Some more thoughts - Don't be sold (or buy) the hype about those suits as they do nothing to reduce drag.  No matter what their advertising says, they just don't work.

The only suits that do work are the Speedo LZR and the TYR suit that is comparable.  The LZR is slightly more effective than the TYR.   They cost around $550/suit and stretch out after 4 or 5 races and loose a lot of their efficacy.

Regardless ... are you a world class swimmer?  If not, it is a waste of your money.  Buy a good old lycra suit for racing.  Use it for a season and have it become your stretched out old practice suit.

  2. i dont think you can because your not even supposed to wash it they are only fast in the water for a few times they say 4 but i think its more anyways you dont want to continue to wash it trying to shrink it and then wear out the fabric. Just try it because it might acctually be better mine fits good but i didnt realize till i was swimming that it choks me and its really hard to breath.

  3. You can't shrink a FS....sorry...if you haven't worn it yet you could probably exchange it for a 26
