Sergei Gorlukovich tips the Russian midfielder to end the dispute with the club and has commented on match between Anzhi Makhachkala and Spartak Moscow
Former Borussia Dortmund defender, Sergei Gorlukovich, has told the controversy-hit Zenit St. Petersburg central midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Denisov-c16694, suggesting him to apologize for showing an improper conduct and unprofessional behaviour
to the club’s management.
Denisov made life difficult for him after refusing to play in Zenit’s 2-2 draw against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara at Metallurg stadium last month. The 28-year-old threatened the club to increase his wages or else he will not play
for the Russian Premier League club again.
The prolific midfielder, who still got his national team call-up despite being a controversial figure after the event, widely impressed in Russia’s 1-0 win against Azerbaijan at Luzhniki stadium on Tuesday.
Gorlukovich showered praise on Denisov, saying that the central midfielder showed nerves of steel by dominating the centre of the park in the last qualifying match of the World Cup against the Milli Komanda.
The Russian defender went on to express his surprise over Denisov’s form, saying that he could not understand how he managed to play the match perfectly despite lacking match practice for a while.
Denisov missed three league matches and Zenit’s important UEFA Champions League clash against AC Milan at Petrovsky stadium earlier this month.
Gorlukovich warned Denisov to return to his parent club, after impressing in the qualifying matches, insisting that the Russian Cup might lose his place in the starting line-ups under Luciano Spalletti.

position.” The former FC Mika player was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the upcoming league tie between Anzhi Makhachkala and Spartak Moscow at Dynamo Stadium on Saturday, Gorlukovich has challenged the Moscow-based club to win the respective match if they are to think about winning the
league title this season.
As things stand, the Spartachi are at the 7th spot on the league table and trail Anzhi by seven points.
