Igor Korneev has questioned Spalletti’s decision, insisting that the former AS Roma coach made a hasty decision. He said that the 53-year-old made the wrong call, saying that most of the squad players will be unhappy with the manager’s
decision.
“Apparently, the atmosphere in the team is not very quiet. Ideally, the captain should be a Russian-speaking player. But Spalletti made a decision after reckoning what is going on within the team.”
