1. Can I put a Male and Female Iguana in the same tank.

2. How can I breed them. Website URLS would be helpful.

3. What kind of substrate should I use.

  1. 1. No sir! There will be dominance issues, stress, space issues, and possibly fighting.

    2. If you want them to breed introduce both of them to neutral territory (a spot they haven't been) at the same time once they are sexually mature.

    3. Tile works best with Iguanas, reptile carpet is good too.


  2. you can house them together but you should know the enclouser would have to be the size of a bedroom. you can breed them when they get to a mature age. about 3-4 years is when i breed mine. there all about 5 1/2 feet for females and 6 feet for males. also use astro turf it works and not hard to find p**p in.
