I dont think its the best soap opera everrr,it was okay

but thats just me

im turkish and i really enjoy Yaprak Dokumu and couple others.

i dont remember the characters names.but i liked the girl main character in the begining i think her name was elif.and then the other girl.you know the one in love with yilmaz.

Definetly the best and cannot be beat by any other. I watch it in arabic tooo. My favorite character is definetly lamis or tuba buyukustun. I love this series and it's story. Sucks its ending soon though. Lamis is my hero as well. I saw many other interviews of her on youtube and she helps and donates a lot of money to kids in need and have no education.

I noticed that these series are very popular in Arab countries, perhaps it is because Arab soap operas are not that many? (Turkish tvs are infested with them)  Ihlamurlar Altında and Gümüş were 'popular' series in Turkey, but it didn't make a success as much as it did in your country. I never heard anyone talking about these series in daily life, you know what I mean? There were very very popular series in Turkey, like Avrupa Yakası -still popular I guess-, Kurtlar Vadisi -don't know if it's still on-, Yılan Hikayesi etc but not Gümüş or Ihlamurlar Altında.
