Ihtifal all set to sizzle in Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap at Kempton
Saeed Bin Suroor’s 3-year-old, Ihtifal, showed lots of pace over six furlongs at Kempton last time. She is interesting back in trip from her low draw in Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap, to be held on Wednesday, November 14th.
Ihtifal has been consistent since the start of her career. So far, she has always finished among the toppers, expect on one occasion at Glorious Goodwood in August.
After more than two months of rest, the Godolphin-owned returned to action here at the start of this month. On the first of November, she ran well to capture the third place in the 32Red.com Racing Handicap.
It was nothing more than an unlucky loss. In the hands of Mickael Barzalona, she was fast from a wide draw. With a splendid effort, she led at a blistering pace. The filly was in a great position to claim at least the second place, but unfortunately missed
the spot only by a head’s distance close home.
The Darley-bred daughter of Dansili is expected to build on her classy act, and do some damage in today’s battle. She is facing a big line-up of 11 rivals. The competition is for a prize of £6,663. The officials at Kempton are due to start the proceedings
at 17:25 GMT.
Ajjaadd is a likely contender if getting the breaks from the low draw. Ubetterbegood won three in Argentina, but was well held on British debut. Move In Time has not been at best for a while, and looks vulnerable on the AW debut.
Le Toreador will be able to get something only at best. Harrison George returned to form last time, but over seven furlongs. The P. J. O´Gorman-trained is unraced over this far, and this is really a concern. Moorhouse Lad is facing a stiff task, and looks
an ordinary fellow against these.
Whozthecat is lightly raced on Polytrack, and was a winner on it last time out. Island Legend is going to prove weak at this level. Burning Thread is on a losing run, and the draw has not been kind. Electric Qatar won 5f handicaps in the summer, but not
well treated at the moment.
