Do a GOOGLE search on COR Certificate.. and you will get THREE HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND hits (368,000) and the ALL TELL YOU HOW TO GET THE CERTIFICATE... wouldn't that be more informative than a one sentence reply here on Answers?

While technip is a real company, (http://www.technip.com/english/index.htm... and the Petroleum Human Resources Council of Canada is a real sector council (http://www.petrohrsc.ca) there is currently a scam going on in which someone claiming to be Technip is offering jobs out of Newfoundland and requesting that the people get a Certificate of Oil Rig Workers before coming to Canada. This is a scam. They are just taking your money. DO NOT apply for the certificate through them and please report the email you received as a confirmation letter to the host (@whatever) as email abuse.

This is being investigated further, please spread the word to anyone else that you think may be considering this "opportunity".
