  1. Yes (duh).  Even if you're not a felon, you cannot carry a gun kunckles (gun ok with CHL permit only but not if you're a felon).

On the car question,  I'm sure it's a 'no' on both also.

If you're a felon, I'd say that pepper spray is the best legal way to go.

  2. No one in the state of TX can legally carry brass knuckles, they are prohibitted.

Since you are a felony, PLEASE check at your local police station, or PO office and ask them (he, he, he).

(one person who would gladly assist you in check out the legality, I'll even send flowers.)

  3. Carrying stun-knuckles is illegal, but probably not a felony.  It's a class A misdemeanor for anyone to carry "knuckles" as defined by the Texas Penal Code.  See Texas Penal Code 46.01(8) and 46.05(a), (e).

As for having them in your car, the prohibited weapons statute applies to anyone who knowingly "possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells" knuckles.  So, yes, I think it would be illegal to have them in your car - you would arguably be possessing and/or transporting the knuckles in that case.  See Texas Penal Code 46.05.
