Ijaz Butt to discuss resumption of Indo-Pak series in September’s chief executives meeting - Cricket News Update

The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128 will hold talks with the BCCI officials in the next chief executives meeting to resolve the latest deadlock the Indo-Pak bilateral series has reached, claimed a top PCB official on Tuesday.
The much anticipated bilateral Test series between Pakistan and India in latter’s backyard is once again in jeopardy as the two boards are facing a logistical headache scheduling the series.

The PCB official further added that it would be quite difficult to reschedule the Asia Cup as the ACC has commitments with its broadcasters.
The top PCB official said that after the recent clash of bilateral Test series with the Asia Cup, it would be quite early to talk about the possible schedule of the Indo-Pak series.
"That is why any meaningful talks will only begin on such issues next month and after the Indian board sorts out the time slot and dates issues," said the Pakistan cricket board official.
The PCB official also played down the reports that the Pakistan Cricket Board chief, Ijaz Butt had visited New http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 to meet the Indian counterpart. He said that no official meeting was scheduled between the PCB and BCCI chief.
