this just popped in my head lol. is it illegal to video tape other videos like on youtube? haha idk which category this goes into.

I would say no because you can actually legally duplicate videos on youtube the videos with the red slash in the connor.

There are actually better ways to get a video on youtube than recording it with a camera. There are lots of applications that you can buy that directly download the videos right on your Hard Drive, also there are web sites online that you can go through that you can download youtube videos for free with. A Google search for "Youtube download" yields many results. At one point Youtube was thinking about allowing people to download video directly off their site. If this were illegal, they wouldn't go after you, they would go after the people you make downloading possible, so don't worry.
