Iker Casillas insists Real Madrid still has a chance to win the Spanish League: La Liga News

The Los Blancos currently sit in second place with 76 points and have won 24 games, having lost just three. The Madrid giants are in the final of the Copa del Rey and the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.
Casillas said that his side will fight till the end and will keep putting pressure on Barcelona as anything can happen at the end of the season. The goal-keeper admitted that it would be difficult to win the League but claimed his side will wait for the
Catalans to make any mistakes and capitalise on them.
He revealed that the Los Blancos have to win the El Clasico next week and reduce the difference at the top to five points and then keep winning the remaining games.
“We are going to continue to think about winning and earn points so that no one believes this league is over. It will be hard to win, but you never know what can happen. One play or mistake can change everything,” the Madrid captain was quoted as saying.
The Spaniard insisted that the team’s prime focus at this point of time would be to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final to be played at White Hart Lane. Casillas admitted that going through does not look difficult
after the 4-0 win in the first-leg but added that the club cannot afford to be complacent.
“The Champions League [match against Tottenham Hotspur] comes before the Clasico. It appears that we will go through, but anything can happen. Let's talk about Barca after the match in London,” concluded the shot stopper.
Real Madrid has virtually qualified for the last four of the Champions League and their most likely opposition would be rivals Barcelona. The Catalans downed Shakhtar Donetsk comprehensively 4-1 at Camp Nou in the first-leg of the same stage.
