The Basque youngster came on the support of Marcelo Bielsa in his altercation with club officials but believes everything will return to normalcy soon.
Athletic Bilbao have been involved with internal problems over the last week. At first, there were news about Marcelo Bielsa getting in a physical altercation with construction workers at the Lezama training centre.
The Argentine tactician came out in the media to explain the whole fiasco regarding Bilbao’s pre-season training, and lashed out at the sluggish efforts of the contractors.
"The works were evil, knowing that they were doing wrong. When I got on Monday was angry because this is a professional job done by reputable companies," Bielsa said.
Following Bielsa’s outburst, Los Leones board gave an official statement that distanced themselves from the stance of their manager, stating that they opinions voiced by Bielsa were his own and the club do not share them on any level.
