The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has claimed that the national team’s style of play is very similar to the Bundesliga champions.

Gundogan claimed that it has not taken him much time to adapt to the game Germany play as Borussia Dortmund have a very similar attacking game. He admitted that both teams play great attacking football with short passes which is
why he had to problems in accepting the role.
“There are many similarities: the pressing, winning the ball quickly, direct play up top, and swift conclusion. So, I haven't had to change my game that much,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the youngster admitted that the game against Switzerland on Saturday is a huge chance for him to prove his worth to Joachim Low. He insisted that it will be a brilliant opportunity for players who are not certain
of their place in the squad.
“Definitely [it's my big chance]. Some players will get their chance and try to take advantage of it. But not everything rides on this game,” he concluded.
