The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 player is elated with his displays in the second-half of the campaign and feels that it is the result of hard work. Gundogan claimed that he has learned a lot in his maiden campaign with the German champions
and is happy that he has started to find his footing in the team.
The German international has been in inspired form recently and also found the net in Dortmund’s 6-1 triumph over FC Koln at the RheinEnergieStadion this past weekend.
“In the last few weeks and in the second half of the season generally, I've been training really well and things are coming together. It's all part of the learning process and I've come through low points but am now reaping the
rewards for never doubting myself or giving up. I always gave my all. It's fantastic,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Gundogan remained confident that his side will be able to retain the league title at the end of the season and wants to win the DFB-Pokal as well. The reigning champions have a five-point lead at the top of the table and have also
reached the final of the German Cup where they will face Bayern Munich next month.
“Definitely. We had a great game in Furth and won after 120 minutes. We reached the cup final, which is terrific for us. The 6-1 in Köln crowned an excellent week and we're delighted,” he concluded.
