Ilkay Gundogan to make his Germany debut soon – Bundesliga news
Newly recruited Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been assured of a place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929, Bastian Schwensteiger
and Mesut Ozil.
Gundogan made a move to Dortmund from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 during the summer and has vowed to perform at its best in order to win a place in the country’s national side.
Germany national team manager Joachim Low told that Gundogan possesses outstanding skills and is certainly the one for the future. He was delighted to see him in Dortmund’s young line-up and reckoned that the 20-year-old deserves to be a part of a champion
outfit like the Borussians.
He wished the player success with his new club and hoped that the midfielder could win silverware on a consistent basis. Low further added that Germany U-20 international proved his worth while he was at Nuremberg and now it is just a matter of time before
the youngster earns himself a white Germany shirt.
Gundogan, on the other hand, seemed excited with all the developments and showed gratitude towards Low for supporting him all the way through. While addressing a local sports channel, the midfielder enthused, "He [Low] has told me that I play a role in his
plans for the future and said that I've developed very well recently. I will get the chance to prove my worth in the national side. I just have to continue doing my utmost and he'll reward me for my hard work.”
The player joined Nuremberg in 2009 and managed 48 Bundesliga appearances, netting six goals in return. He also represented his country at the U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels. Gundogan also had an option of representing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 at the international level but
instead chose Germany. It is believed that the youngster would soon get a well deserved opportunity for Germany as he prepares for another hectic season, this time with Borussia Dortmund.
