  1. it has its pros and its cons.

    Pro:

    -alone time

    -more room

    -quiet

-invite people to hangout in your room

-you can get dressed etc without problem

    Cons:

    -work harder to make friends

-adjusting to the lonliness, if you're not an only child, might be a bit hard

    good luck! I'm jealous

  2. You will enjoy it immensely, especially half way through the year when everyone is complaining about their roomates. This will also force you to "put yourself out there" to meet people and network, as the greatest benefit of having a roomate is that you instanlty ahev a new group of people that you will be forced to interact with. This should be no problem at all in a dorm, regardless of the roomate situation....just leave your door open to show your desire to meet new people.

  3. it's good and bad. on one hand, you have a room all to yourself, more space to study and chill. on the other hand, you won't have the companionship that comes with a roomate. then again, no roomate problems so i guess that's good. lol.
