If the illegal immigrants respective countries are as rich or at least secondary to what the United States can offer, there will be no illegal immigrants.

Why venture into foreign country where one have to leave almost everything behind and in which there's no certainty as what future brings.

Poverty, really really low paying jobs, a corrupt government that will never change, and increasing violence along the border.

It's better because I have money to make a living in the US and have some left over to send home to my family.......after I pay my taxes of coarse.  I am more free to do what I want here and the Hamburgers are the best!

In my country I was exploited for $4.50/day (12-hr day), but in the U.S. I can be exploited for $60/day (8-hr day). Also I revenge Santa Ana by taking a job from a U.S. citizen. Also, social programs do not exist in Mexico as they do here. Also I am able to provide for mi familia por Western Union.

Funny answers from you people. I know one "illegal" in the US that is merely an overstayer. Technically that is not illegal unless she tries to gain benefits from this. She came because her sister had to come over and her parents are mentally unstable and unfit to raise her. (she was emancipated in her home country) Her sister supports her fully and she is still in school but will not work or ask for any free benefits at all until she can get some kind of legal residency. US law does not allow these small details to matter. Illegal is illegal. Period! Now she has no family but her sister and no legal avenue to stay here and have a life until she marries a US citizen assuming she finds a proper guy to marry her. The older sister is married with a family of her own to support. You think she should uproot her husband and kids to drag them all acroos the border to live a life of poverty because US Immigration does not have an extenuating circumstances written in the law?

Well, most people leaves their country because they have a financial problems in their own country. Some people leave their country because of war some because of having a good life in the future and some think that thier children should get  education and have a better life in the future. That is why they risk and go to another country illegally because they can not get any visa or any documents.
