Illegal Pokemon?

Given that Pokemon are trained to fight each other for our amusement, shouldn't Pokemon battles be illegal, like dogfighting and cockfighting? Is Ash any better than Michael Vick?

Great point. its cruel just to throw out small animals and watch them beat each other up. and they keep going on about WITCH TRAINER IS THE BEST but all they do is choose what one of the animal they keep trapped inside small balls should fight.

Well the dogfighting and cockfighting are illegal because they involve live beings. As for pokemons they are just pixels on a screen. If they were forbidden then you should forbid all of the games that involve any case of killing.
