  1. Because they want to pick up some medications and tequila on the way in.

Cuba is a terrorist leftist puppet regime

  4. I know, I am glad to meet another conspiracy theorer. I know, dum cubans trying to come America just because their country abuses their rights. I mean what idiot would leave their country just because it abuses their rights. Our Founding Fathers don't count by the way becuase breaking from england was different. Ok and just becuase the US allows Cubans to immingrate to America, doesn't mean they are allowed to immingrate to America. And now Cubans are trying to turn us into communist, WHICH is illegal, because communist are zombies, and the USSR is still out there, and terrorist are vampires, and mexicans are werewolves, and martha stewart, and it is all one big conspiracy theory (oh, and thanks but i don't need any links. I get all my news from my trusted links, www.redneck.com, www.hicknews.com, www.bigconspiracytheory.com, www.uradumass.com, and www.foxnews.com)

  5. I thought that the persons or citizens from Cuba leaving the island were the ones that are not Communist and for this reason they want to live in Mexico. But I think that Mexico is anti foreign. Mexicans could come to the states illegally but nobody else to their country, right.?

  6. Why ?

Why do you keep repeating the same question over and over ?

You don't like the answers and are looking for a different one ?

In that case, make your own, write it down and read it 30 times a day

  7. Because they hate cuba and don't care about NY or Florida. Mexico is where all the tequila and hot latinas are.

  8. This must be the 7th time I've seen this question posted.  Here is the real answer:

The wet feet, dry feet policy  is the name given to the 1995 revision of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 that says anyone who fled Cuba and got into the United States would be allowed to pursue residency a year later. After talks with the Cuban government, the Clinton administration agreed with Cuba that it would stop admitting people found at sea. Since then, a Cuban caught on the waters between the two nations (i.e., with "wet feet") would summarily be sent home or to a third country.   In other words, if they start, they darn sure better make it to the US.  One who makes it to shore ("dry feet") gets a chance to remain in the United States, and later would qualify for expedited "legal permanent resident" status and U.S. citizenship.

Since then the immigration patterns changed.   Many Cuban immigrants departed from the southern and western coasts of Cuba and arrived at the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.  From there Cuban immigrants traveled to the Texas-Mexico border and found asylum. Many of the Cubans who did not have family in Miami settled in Houston. The term "dusty foot" refers to Cubans immigrating to the U.S. through Mexico.

Thats why.  And to pick up tequila on the way in as another poster said.

  9. Can't swim ?

  10. I don't get your question. You're asking why Cubans are sneaking illegally into the USA. Let me ask you this instead: why not? They're not the only ones who try and they all think they'll have a better life in the US.

I'm not saying I approve of this in any way, just that that's the way things work. Again, I don't see the point of your question. We all know why foreigners want to get into the USA, legally or illegally; the problem is not why they do it, but rather why the US government is being so inactive on the issue of illegal immigration.

Also, immigration issues aside, I'd like to point out that people trying to leave Cuba do not give a c**p about communism. In fact, they loathe it and the Cuban regime.
