Illegal immigration is decreasing significantly. Is this due to new laws that aid ICE in locating illegals?

When this started, people in the Hispanic Core Lobby Groups made the acceptance of the illegal aliens a racial matter.  You take them.. or you are a racist.  But they were moving into the Hispanic Neighborhoods and they were bringing dope.. they were bringing crime.  Look at the Jail Stats, and young latinos are going to jail in record numbers for narcotics and use of weapons.  That goes directly back to the dope peddlers, and the Barrio suddenly had to put bars on their windows.. cut the trees down so the cops could see all sides of the house.

I think they have begun to see that.  I believe they are making the calls, and the illegal aliens will be going home!

Yes, partly.  Actually, a lot of things are coming together to give us this result.

More state and local laws.

More resources to law enforcement.

A weak economy.

The fact that Americans are making their disgust with this situation quite well known, and the illegals are starting to understand that the Welcome Mat is NOT for them.

Yes i believe that has part to do with it, and Sheriff Joe doing his part, plus more people are turning them in, the economy and employers are getting afraid to hire them. Whatever works!!!

I think in part.  I think the other part has to do with the slowing  economy and the lack of jobs.  I actually don't care what takes care of the problem, I just want it corrected.
