  1. With respect, why should an illegal alien be allowed to beat the system when there are so many people waiting in line legally?

Legal immigrants spend a lot of money and time doing things LEGALLY. Is it fair for Illegal aliens to cut in line ahead of them?

  2. If someone legally comes to the US, works, pays taxes, is married or single, but abides within the law, then welcome.

If someone comes here illegally, they have disrespected our sovereignty and laws. They entered having made the wrong choice and should not be rewarded for that wrong choice.

I would not condone their actions any more than I would condone those of any other lawbreaker. If someone shoplifted at a store I never patronize, it would not affect me directly, but I would still feel that store has the right to prosecute that shoplifter.

  3. If your next door neighbor rapes and murders children but works, pays taxes has no government benifits and is married to a US citizen is this a problem with you? Just because a criminal only commits crimes part time doesn't mean I would want to live next to him/her! How does this person pay taxes, get and hold a job, etc. Identity theft? Is s/he dragging other peoples pay rate down by working cheap because he is illegal? There are other ramifications to think about. Deport criminals! We have enough of our own!

  4. Americans get the idea that illegals work for little because that is what illegal supporters tell us!!! I don't think every illegal comes and gets government benefits but they still broke the law and came here illegally which is a slap in the face for those who did.

  5. To immigrate illegally is disrespectful to my country and it's laws.

  6. Yes it's a problem,it's called disrespecting and breaking the law. Besides that,if they are paying taxes, they are doing so with a stolen social security number.

  7. If the immigrant is married to a U.S. citizen, can she/he not apply for a green card?

  8. It's a touchy topic.  I have no problem with illegal imigrants.

My parents fled Mexico on D-Day.   They knew that all attention would be focused elsewhere, and if they ever had a chance, this was it.

They came with two children and the clothes on their backs.  They wore two 'outfits' each and dressed my older siblings in multiple clothing.

They both worked as migrant workers.  Sometimes Mom would get a break and get a job as a house cleaner.  She also sold her chili and tortillas for a bit of extra money.

They were finally "naturalized" and Dad went on to work for the rail road and Mom was able to stay home with the kids.  They went on to have 12.  Twelve kids.  Not once did they ever ask for a hand out.  They were never on welfare.

All twelve of us have college degrees, all twelve of us are married with no divorce in the family, we all do volunteer work.

My point is, I can't imagine someone contributing more to American society then my illegal imigrant Parent's did.

And yes, they did pay taxes.  They paid taxes evertime they bought something.  As far as income tax goes, of course not.  Hard to pay taxes on a whopping $20 a day ( a day is 12 to 14 hours) for back breaking work.

Before you judge illegal immigrants, I strongly suggest that you look at their story and take into consideration what they contribute to the US.  The USA, the great melting pot of the world.  Give us your poor.....

  9. Well if you are illegal, how are you paying taxes without raising eyebrows? don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people coming to america to work, live, marry, visit, whatever they want to do. Just the logistics of it, how is one legally employed and paying into the american tax system, social security etc, without a legitimate SSN? I do think that people should try to immigrate legally and that the immigration laws should be changed to make immigration easier.

  10. Why not just come hear legally ?  Illegal immigrants are still breaking the law.  I for one appreciate  the fact that apparently some illegal aliens are paying taxes and aren't cheating the system. Too bad most don't seem to be.

One on one, I find many illegals to be wonderful people.  However, they are still criminals.  They are stealing from every American citizen and making it hard for  those immigrants who actually come here legally and correctly.

And those disrespectful rallies really helped me stop straddling the fence on the issue. They really showed me what they thought of the American people and the country.

  11. It's a problem for the people who love to hate.
