Illustrator/Photoshop help?

Is it possible for me to get any version of Photoshop or Illustrator with 256MB of RAM when the ones I have tried need 512MB or something, if so can you give me the name of the version or any tips what to do, Its very important I have Photoshop or Illustrator

  1. Unfortunately no. It would be a very good investment to buy more RAM for your computer. By today's standards, 256 MB is way too little. You really want to boost things to 512 minimum, but 1GB would be even better. What OS are you running? The current versions of Photoshop and Illustrator need at least XP on the PC side.

    RAM is not terribly expensive. Make sure you get the right type of RAM for your machine, because there are differences.

    Even versions of Photoshop and Illustrator that are several years old are not going to run well with only 256 MB of RAM.
