most people wont hire due to your age because they are required to give you so many breaks per so many hours and they just don't want to deal with that, try babysitting or asking your parents for some chores to earn money

shoot for a babysitting job. You can put an ad on craigslist letting local people know your available times to work. Also, check with family friends if you can help with filing or help them with tasks around their houses. I dont know what state you are in, but in California it is illegal for a 12 year old to have a legal type job. Good luck!!!!

1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective wedding parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through wedding planners at nearby churches and temples. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can easily pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand addressed item.

2. Become a "poser" who assists wedding photographers in setting and arranging various individuals in group and single photographic positions. "Posers" carry around a sketch book of various sitting and standing poses which consists of onion skin overlays of various wedding pictures bound in albums. Again, contact local wedding photographers and wedding planners, accordingly. The hourly pay is around $10-$12 per hour and you are often invited to attend all dining activities.

3. Seek from your neighbors a gardner position which involves planting, weed removal, plant/tree trimming, light brush clearance. You will be using the neighbor's equipment and tools. legally you are too young to be working or officially employeed. if you have a talent try making something and selling it or advertise to mow lawns,walk a dog. if live in an area where you can ride a bike to do errands and can prove responsible enough tell people you will do errands for a cheap charge like $2 and who knows if you do a good job or get regular customers they make pay or tip you more and spread word how reliable you are. lets not forget the good old fashioned lemonade and cookies stand.
