  1. Of Course you can =]

    have faith in you're self.

I started golf a year and a half ago and im off 9 ( im a girl and im turning 13. )

I practice everyday for 2 n a half hours during weekdays and 8 during the weekends =]

Where i play there's lots of juniors so we go on the course alot and we practice togerther.

Im planning to become pro and when ever you start playing,if you have 99%of effort and 1%natural skill you can become a good pro =]

  2. Depends how good you are.  Ask again when you're scratch.

  3. if you believe, and really believe in yourself, you can do anything. goodluck

  4. As a coach of kids sports for many years I can tell you that yes you can...It will take mental as well as physical work .I also suggest that you enter competition as soon as your teacher allows to help you mentally prepare for the future.Good Luck

  5. Yes your very young, look at todays golfers there are old guys, with most things in life, if you really want to do something and are passionate about it, then you can make it happen.

  6. Short answer is NO.

You have too much self doubt.  Start living as if you are already a pro and you will make it.

Lessons means squat if you don't believe in yourself.  How many kids go to school and never amount to anything? Plenty

How many kids drop out of school and succeed in life? Plenty.

Its all about goals, ambition and belief.

The time you spent asking this question could have been used hitting balls.

Do you read any of the great players books about themselves?

  7. my neighbor is 21 and he is a 0 handicap on a course that is really difficult, that i shoot a 19-21 handicap on and i'm thirteen years old. he is an amateur but he hasn't been scouted or anything from his college team. he told me he shot a 32 handicap at my age and he really improved. you just have to put your heart to it.

  8. Your coach can teach you to reach the level he got to.

If he had a 20 handicap when he was at his best, then stay with this guy untill you have a 20 - 25 handicap, then look for a better coach.

Just because a guy's dad works in a garage doesn't mean he'll be a pro driver

  9. I am 15 and I have only been playing for less than 2 years. I still believe that I can turn pro (LPGA tour) and I think if you really train hard you can. Plus you have a few advantages as your Dad works at the golf club, you have to opportunity to practice/play more often!

    Good luck.

  10. You have started at a good age and will have the resources available to become a good player. Whether you will become a pro. will depend upon very hard work, natural skill and great dedication.

  11. Sure.  Greg Norman didn't take up golf until the age of 18!

  12. Learn, the secrets that are buried in issue after issue of golf magazines and books written so you can put them to work on the course.

Master the strategies taught by the best instructors in the world without spending money on expensive lessons.

  13. sure you can. if you practice hard and identify your weaknesses.

  14. anyone can be a pro.  i am 19 and have been playing for 5 years.  I shoot in the 70's (high) but to become a pro all u need is a degree usually in business, go to school to be a pro and pass a playing test.  It is not really hard but i think you want to be more of a tour player.  It is very hard to become a pro.  Also if you cant make it on the tour running a golf course is grueling hours.  I am not saying go for it but look at all of the angles
