im 13 (and gonna 14 in a couple of months) and when i was in lower school i never lost my baby teeth. so we asked the dentist when i was 10 y i wasnt losing my teeth. she said i'm just slow at losing teeth and that the time will come.

AND IT HAS!!!

my to front teeth are already kinda big and i just lost the tooth on my right of my front teeth. then i lost my canine next to that one. so i have a huge gap where 2 teeth should be. now the same tooth next to my front teeth on the left is pretty much out, i just need to pull it.

IM GONNA LOOK LIKE A HICK FOR SCHOOL PICS!!!! please help!!! how can i smile for pics, how can i hide this disaster (soon to be humiliation for life)???? i wanna just hide in a corner with duct tape over my mouth so i cant smile, laugh, talk, or open my mouth AT ALL

  1. some peoples teeth fall out quiker and some slower, it a matter of life

  2. I was like that ! but i stopped losing them right before I turned 13. My dentist said that I was "dentally behind"

  3. I had a similar problem that you have when I was younger.  The bad news is that you can do nothing about it.  The good news though is that your teeth will probably fall out faster since you are older (that's what happened to me).  As far as the pictures are concerned, don't stress yourself out about it.  If you want, smile with your mouth closed--it is a very European thing to do and can look very chic.

  4. dont worry about it

  5. Well sweetie if your going to look like a hick you might as well dress the part your only 14 and everyone will be talking about your dress-up longer than you live.

You got a bunch more pictures to take the only ones that count are you with your family and friends, your wedding day, and your children's pictures.

See that is a lot of pictures a lot better than the one you have in a junior High year book.

Lots of love to you and yours.

  6. Lol is this a serious question? There is nothing you can do to make your teeth fall out (or grow back) sooner. It's just like puberty-- some girls get their periods at 11 and others don't until they're 16. It's no big deal. Who cares? So your baby teeth fell out late-- you'll get over it. I understand the embarrassment.  But it's no reason to give up your happiness.
