Do NOT pay for a "job".  Use you imagination...walk dogs, clean houses, mow lawns, weed flower beds, clean out attics, basements and garages.  Keep the stuff they are going to throw away and sell it in yard sales or on eBay.  Find an art or craft that you enjoy and sell the products...jewelry, pottery, macrame, knitting etc.  Do typing for college students.  Grocery shop for elderly or shut-ins.  Keep busy and enjoy life.  It's not always about money.
