I always liked 4-H. There are tons of things to do, it's not all about raising an animal although you can show your dog and cat if you have them. Church youth groups if you are involved with a church. Local neighbors that could use some help raking yards and so on this fall.

As far as volunteering is there a senior center close by? Or a hositptal, animal clinic, or a small time shop owner that could use some one to run errends for them, or do small tasks. As you get older all these could leave to what you may want to do in life or just a good teenage job.

Try the Elks club, they regularly organize volunteer activities for your age group.

Find an elderly person who lives alone. You could be their only friend.  We paid someone $250 to check on our 88 year old Aunt.  Would you be willing to do this for pay instead of volunteer.
