  1. Isn't this question the title of a Jerry Springer episode??!

  2. I remember those days... Fun when there happening, but not when you realize what it's doing to your body. Between the age of 16-18 I was addicted to crack, not the best of things to do but it started with just partying with friends, smokin a little bud, and havin a couple shots, and enjoyin myself. Next thing I knew I was in the hospital after my third seizure, do to over-dosing. That's what it took to make me realize that it wasn’t the life I wanted to have. If it was as simple as it sounds, and I could tell you a simple way to quit I would, but that's not how it works. It took abandoning the friends and constant partying I had adjusted my life around, and finding something I wanted to accomplish, and I have now been clean for 3 years.

Don't get me wrong I still party every now and then and still have those lovely cravings to light-up but it's gotten easier. It's all about will power.

If you don't have strong will power, it helps to have someone you know that can help you get you through those cravings. Whether it's your parents, a best friend, or a group. If you truly want to quit you'll find someone, or something.

Also what has helped me was finding a hobby, I draw. It doesn't tickle everyone’s fancy but it's helped me.

You might also be under the assumption that, just puffing on cigar isn't bad or as bad for you as smoking either cigs or actually inhaling that smoke, but it just changes the types of cancer and diseases you can get. Oral, Tongue, throat and nasal cancer are still very possible. As well the likely hood that your teeth will fall out, by the time you’re thirty.

It's up to you where you go from here.

    Best of Luck!!!

  3. Go to your parents and tell them your problem of drinking.

Or  go to Alcoholics Anonymous  meeting to get straighten out and see what a life time of drinking will do to people and learn from their mistakes.  Before you get busted by the police and get straightened out by the legal system and ruin your unknown future career and life.

  4. You have a high risk of becoming an alcoholic at an early age.  Stop drinking.

  5. Explain to your parents the problem and ask them to help you in getting into rehab or find a rehab facility in your town. It usually costs money so you probably have to talk to your parents. They should understand if you're doing well in school etc.

  6. Tell your parents what's going on, and ask for help.  You're going to have to stop hanging out with the friends who are partying hard like you.  And start spending more time working on the good things in your life.  You're going to need help, and your parents are the best place to start to find it.  They can get you counseling.

  7. Stop going to parties.

  8. Pour out all your boose, and refuse to go to these "parties."

Lol, if your parents found out you'd be in so much trouble. >.<

  9. stop them,

    now...

get drunk every so often not every weekend...

    and DONT use valums.

i know i sound like an annoying 50 year old mom but im actually a 16 year old girl who ******* up her life with substance abuse

trust me, its not worht it and if you continue this you'll **** up your life aswell.

  10. you are 13 and don't have a clue as to what you are doing and where you are headed.  Run ....don't walk....and get some counseling NOW.  Go to an AA meeting and see what kind of stories they tell.  And most of all...get better friends!!  The ones you're drinking and smoking with won't be around forever.  They aren't the kind you need.  Make friends with people you most admire.

  11. Well first you have to ask yourself why  you do it? Do you like the taste? Is it Peer pressure? Does it help you  forget  your problems? Is it a pain killer? Do you feel nervous around ppl and take alcohol to feel more relaxed? After, you realize why you do it. I suggest you take therapy. Tell your parents that you have a problem and go to a rehabilitation center before it becomes an addiction. And if for some reason you don't have good communication with your parents then you can always go to your school therapist and tell her you need help.

  12. Get your f***y to AA.  (Take your brain with you.)

  17. I started drinking when I was 13 and I'm a sophmore in college and have a 4.0 gpa. Valium is ok every once in a while. Your biggest problem is that your a member of PETA. I highly recommend you eat some meat and go hunting in order to solve your problems.

  18. keep youre life the way it is. if you drink booze and still make straight A's then you are very smart and it seems like you will be able to keep youre life on track with a beer in youre hand. good luck.

  19. Well since your 13,those straight A's are gonna fly bye bye, because alcohol is the main cause in abnormalities in the growth of the brain, and until your about 19-21 your still growing evrywhere ,mentally and physically. As for PETA and you politics, sorry I'm a Reagan conservative and your being brainwashed,I cant help you there.

  20. talk to your parents or an adult who you trust and get some help before this ruins your life..  please.. get some help..

  21. Tell your counselor at school, and have him or her help you.

  22. well if you wanna stop you have a few options. the first one is a little bit extreme but go to rehab.  the second one would just be to stop cold turkey like the guys above me said.  the third option would be to gradually go off all of the stuff your doing.  start once a day and then once a week, then twice a month, then once a month and then just stop

  23. find some new friends and/or develop healthy hobbies that keep your mind off partying.
