  1. ya, you can get one. you just need your parents to go in and sign for you. I've had one since I was like 11. Just go into the bank of your choice and say you would like a savings account.

  2. NO WAY!  18 at least and a job....

  3. Honey, LOL it is a debit card not a debt card.  Any if you don't know how to get one you don't need one.  Open a saving account and they may give you one but you need money in order to do this.  And unless you are a rich kid i highly doubt your parents will get one for your convenience.  This was such a entertaining question.

  4. Why do you want a debt card?  Do you have debt?

  5. Sure....first get an education, then a job and then you can get a debit card. Good luck!!

  6. Probably not but if there is it will require your parents/leagle guardian to co sign. In other words, if you dont pay they have to.

  7. You need to be 18 to get a debt card. That's the case for all states. You can have an ATM card when you're younger, but you have to have your parents go in to the bank with you and let them know so you can get one.

  8. Your parent has to open an account and add you on. I got my first one at 16 that way.

  9. THE PERSON  HAS WHAT I WOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED. I HAVE ONE AND IT'S LINKED WITH MY DAD'S ACCOUNT.  I  LOVE THE FREEDOM I HAVE AND I GET BENEFITS AND I AM ONLY 13.

  13. Nope.

  14. There is nothing possibility before you get 18

  15. in order to have a debit account , you must first have money to deposit into an bank account, so the money can be drawn from that debit card..., welcome to the adult world... ask your parents for help with a "credit card" and ask for help in managing your credit, so that way eventually with good practices, you'll be able to establish credit in your own name when you reach 18 or 21....

  16. I'm 13 too. i wanted the same thing, but you'll  just have to have ur mom/dad/guardians name on the card instead of yours. thats my current situation

  17. It's debit card

An no I don't think you can.

But call the bank and ask them.

  18. Yes, you can! The company that provides PREPAID debit cards is called NetSpend. The cards are re-loadable (which means: Say you load $200 and spend all of it, you can just go to the store and put more money on the card). The cards have the traditional VISA logo on the bottom right hand corner. You get to set up a pin number for security. Here's the catch, though, since you are only 13. You will have to have one of your parent's names on the card, or an older sibling who is at least 18. I.D. is not requested when using the card because it is sufficient to know the PIN number. You can get one of these cards at any ACE location (America's Cash Express) or H.E.B. grocery store. : )

ADD: Whoever decides to open the joint account will need to bring his or her I.D. and social security number. It costs between $1-$3 to load money onto the card, the same to take money out at an ATM machine. Everytime you use the card $1 is deducted from your account.
