Im 13 nearly 14 and have a question for MAC users

I'm 13 and i've been using MAC foundations for a while .

the first one i got was ' Studio Fix Powder '

this caused me to have a massive outbreak , pores around my nose and chin all went black and spots came from everywhere.

Then yesterday i bought Face & Body Foundation by MAC [it's one that isn't out on display , they gave it to me as i have a fare skin tone] and i was wondering will this cause outbreaks again?

Im rreally scared about this and i don't want it happen again cause if it does that means i need 5 weeks to get my skin back into shape.

Please help me . btw the new foundation is N1 and a liquid

at almost 14 u dont need foundation,

but i would go with a whole different brand cause most brands make their makeup out of the same things, so its more likely to cause an outbreak, its best to try a few brands, but i'd stay away from the MAC brands, if that brand is popular, take out the other brand and put the stuff in a MAC brand container, lol!

but at almost 14, i'd stick to tinted moisturizer, lip gloss and lash blast mascara

I use foundations too.

And im 13.

Nothing wrong with it in my opionion.

I think you should use Vichy (can be bought at drug stores) its in this green gel bottle called NORMADERM and its amazing. It gets rid of pimples and pores like magic.

also, slightly use some foundation but use circular motions. \

and dont worry, try your new foundation.

The truth is you really dont need foundations, and its just going to make your skin more oily. Thats why you have been having many outbreaks, but if you really wanna use it, you should put on a light moisturizer sunscreen on before you put on the new foundation you bought. One amazing moisturizer is by the awesoem brand Neutrogena (this brand is totally a lot of help with all of its skin care products). There is one which is spf 45 and one that is spf 80. So you can get either one and put it on first then put on the foundation so the foundation gently covers on your face but not really touching it all that much.

And if you still have problems with outbreaks and pimples and things then i suggest you use Klear Action face wash. Its just like Proactiv, (same ingredients) but is cheaper! Well hope i helped! Bye the way im 13 too...so i understand lol. Cheers!! :)

First, Mac does not break up your skin. To have a clear skin you HAVE to wash your face before you go to bed and use a moisturizer. Try the 3-step clinque and even when you use MAc it does not break your skin up. Your skin breaks up because you  probably do not take off your make up when you go to bed or you do not exfoliate your skin at least once a week. No matter what foundation you use but as long as you have the make up stay on your face at night it will beak up your skin.

I have tried so many kinds and I myself use the MAC studo fix and my face has not even once been bad or having pores, acned. And aslo drink a lot of water.

MAc to me its the best. People say that MAc breaks them up but they do not relize that You also need to take care of your skin and keep it clean and healthy.

And also use a tint moisturizer everyday with spf 15, I use the Stila one the spf 30 and you will have a healy look.

Just remember take off your make up every night and you will see that MAc its not the one to break up your skin.
