Im 13 years old and 5'3 will i grow more?

Question

will i grow more?

my mom is like 5'1 and my dad is like 5'8 or 5'9

all my moms family is her height when i went to see them i was wayy teller than them so i guess theyre shorter than my mom

but anyway when will i stop growing? i think im stopping now bcuz i havent grown in like a year and i usually grow alot in a month ot couple of months. i rlly dont want to be taller than 5'5 or 5'6

do u think ill grow more? if so how much more?

I'd say you've got more growing to do - 5'3 is impressive for 13 - I'm only about 5'4 or 5'5 - you could grow a few more inches by the time you're out of your teens.

Hum, it all depends when you got your period. I believe... after you've gotten your first period, you have about five to six more (or was it six to seven? Hm, I really think it's about five to six...) years to grow.

But your growth slows after you get your first period, that's for sure.

Well, both your parents are on the shorter side, but you're still young.  Girls usually grow until they're about 16-18.  It's possible that you've already had your big growth spurt (I had mine around your age, and I've slowed down a lot since) and won't grow too much more.  You'll probably grow very, very slowly until you reach your full height, but the full height depends on which parent you take after more.

I remember 9 years ago my mom took my sister and I to the doctor, and he said that my sister isn't going to grow anymore (She was in the 8th grade). It was weird because she got sad and looked like she was going to cry; I felt bad for her.

I think she's grown about an inch or so since then, and it really isn't an issue. It's normal for girls to be in the low to mid 5 foot range, in my opinion. Girls don't go through the same type of growth spurt as guys do. You're height is very good.

You arent tall at all! You may grow an inch or so, but if you havent grown in a year then maybe not. Learn to embrace your individuality, love yourself for who you are. My moms 5'4, my sisters the same, my dads 5'6 and guess what? Im 5'9.5 and im 14 and i havent even gotten my period yet! I used to be self consious about it, that just showed  through and mademe look more strange. Now im tall and lovin every second of it. And it is easier to stay slim! Yay! Im that tall and 103lbs, works for me! I just got a modelling contract soit actually works for my advantage, people sometimes make comments on my height, but ya know what, i looooove it and cant wait to get taller! You arent tall and arent gunna get tall, even if ya do, dont worry. Its something people dream of, i ALWAYS get complements on my long legs. Granted, its harder to find clothes that fit but who cares. You are who you are and just love your body for what it is.

you will probably grow a little bit more just cuz 13 is kind of young to stop. if you really want to know you can get an x-ray to see if your growth plates have closed.
