Question:

Im 14, 5' 10" and I weigh 152. Im fast, I bench 120, squat 275, and very agile. Would I be a good running back

    umm u need to be sneaky swiftly fast and tough i was rb damnn i got knocked badly unless if you have a good ( i forgot what there position is they gaurd you while you run)

  7. umm its not all abount height ect but get your bench up and work out you should be able to bench your body weight... i 5'6" weigh 125 and was benching 155

Size is not in the equation to be in the backfield all it takes is blood and guts.  I was a running back in high school and sometimes you get hit so hard it knocks the snot out of you.  You have to get up, shake your head, wipe the dirt out of your cuts and scratches then line up and do it again.  You are always playing in pain whether its bruises or soreness, even in pratice.  The coach can tell if you have the ability but most of all the courage to run, so if you are serious prove to him not with your mouth but toughness.  I loved it and wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world.

    You could gain a little more weight, but your still young so that will come.

    Thats a decent squat for a 14 year old, your bench needs a little work.

    But football is mostly leg strength, squat is more important than bench.

    Train your calves, they help you change directions rapidly.

  13. hey i'm 14, 5'10" and i weigh 154 as well lol...what a coincidence...i can bench around 140 (i wrestle) and squat just a bit more than 275...looking at me...i would say you'd be a great running back..you need the stamina though...and get as lean and fast as possible

  14. you gotta be smart and make quick decisions to be a good running back. bench needs to get up a little bit(not that 120 at age 14 is bad) but your legs seem powerful for breaking tackles. stick with it if your passionate. your still young.
