  1. When you move to Puerto Rico, if the age you become an adult is 14, then you are legally an adult.

  2. Im from Puerto Rico, there is no way in h**l your considered an adult at 14 in here. Your considered dumb at any age if you believe such a thing from whoever told you this.

  3. I couldn't find anything suggesting that Puerto Rico's "age of majority" is 14 except a Wikipedia article and some copies of it.

I doubt it is true.  You must be 21 years old there to make a contract.  School attendance is mandatory until 18.  Voting age is 18 there.

The island's "age of majority" does not affect the legal ages within federal laws, many of which interfere with employment opportunities at age 14.

It seems like national and local laws in Puerto Rico interfere with big escape plans at an early age.

  4. are you talking about legally being an adult? why would you need to go to puerto rico? what's going on? i want to help. you can message me if you'd like.

    i'm steph.
