Im 14, can i become a nascar driver?

Question

hello, i just got into nascar and i dont know much about it. i can drive pretty well but thats just in the desert, and im not going 150 MPH. is there a chance that i can become a nascar driver? and how expensive would it be? i need as much information as possable on this one. plz help, thanks

anything you want to be - just do it

In about 4 years! (Unless NASCAR ups the age limit again)

But make a name for yourself, and it could happen. Some drivers came out of places where I never even knew existed. As long as somebody hears of you, you got a good shot.

You have to be eightteen unless NASCAR changes it before then.  Why don't you talk to your dad,  tell him about your interest in racing? Maybe you can start out small, racing go-carts and midget cars, google those kinds of things and maybe they will hit upon costs and maybe sponserships also. This would be a cool thing to do with your father, he could find local sponsers through work and friends. I suggest you talk to him or another family member you are close to and research it together.

Finish school and ask again in four years. In the mean time find all the races you can in go karts.

Why not, Mark Martin started at 14 yrs old at dirt tracks in Arkansas and was great, now he is in Nascar, you can do anything you set your mind to.

please kid finish school 1st  it aint easy trying to be a nascar driver h**l i hit 110 Mph every week on my way to work and yet it still dont feel right well 1 is i know if a cop sees me im pretty much screwed  but talk daddy into buying you  go kart an go from there

as far as how much money it takes  last time i heard it takes like 2 million or so to fund a car Cause you got to have a sponsor gotta have a strong motors and tires and transmissions and a good crew and tools and a hauler
