  1. If you are fast you will want to centerfield. If you have average speed, than play right field because you need a good arm, but don't need to be the fastest player. If your slow play left field or first base. Since your left handed your a prime player for a pitcher if you can throw accurately. You can't play any infield positions except for pitcher and first base. Your best bet would be outfield or pitcher.

  2. Right field would be the ideal place for you. Lefties with good arms can cut down runners trying to go from 2nd to 3rd with a lot more ease than righties can out there. It's pretty unusual to see lefties on the left side of the infield, so 2nd or 1st would also be options if you're trying to play to your strengths. Although baseball is rigged for lefties to succeed, there are few positions on the field where they can excel besides on the mound.

  3. It's hard to tell at this age what position you should play. I think you should try out different ones and see which ones you like the most and are the best at. Right now, focus on offense. Keep practicing your defense, and then later, you'll be a great hitter that can play several positions. I think that is one of the most valuable baseball players you can get. Don't just focus on one position, practice several. I think the middle infield spots might be a little hard for you because your left-handed. When you throw to firstbase you can't really put your whole body into it without turning first. Just keep practicing!

  4. If youre a lefty with a good arm, start to learn to pitch. If you plan on making a career of it, the easiest way to the bigs for a lefty is the P position. Outfield is a good position too if you are a lefty.

  5. well being a lefty your kind of at a disadvantage  in the field because your position choices are limited to first, outfield and pitcher. then again being a lefty and being young your arm can still develop and you can become a pitcher, and lefty pitchers have a better chance of being noticed because they are rare and they have natural movement on their fastball. this is also good if your not a great hitter because you most likely wont hit much as a pitcher

  6. Just on the basis of left handedness, consider pitching or first base.  That works best there.  Outfield positions are pretty much side neutral.

  7. if you really work on your grounders, first base is awesome for a lefty and if you can catch the ball well you will be good there. Also work on pitching and maybe try out a few of the other positions like the outfeild. Your still young so keep your mind open to any positon and work hard at improving your skills

  8. if your fast ull be good at out feild

  9. since you're left handed, i say pitcher. coaches absolutely love left handed pitchers, especially if there are few left handed players on your team. if not pitcher, i recommend outfield. you don't see many left handed infielders (besides first baseman) because when you get groundballs you sorta have to twist the other way to throw to first, resulting in a few milliseconds lost, resulting in a closer play than it could be.

so, i say, just do what you wanna do. what you enjoy playing and just have fun with it, but if you really wanna get a bit serious then pitcher and outfield.

  10. out field center probably

  11. by what you wrote here I would say your best bet will be in the outfield

  12. Yes, a bunch of strangers who don't know you and can't see you are going to tell you what position to play. The idiots have taken over.

  13. first would be a good possibility. lefties tend to cover ground better at first.

if you have wheels, i think right or left would be good. as you get older guys with better arms play right field, but in high school its not usually that way cause high school kids havent mastered the art of going opposite field yet.

id say go for first, then left or right.

  14. shortstop seems lyk a good place 4 u
