  1. Don't worry seriously.

  2. If you're just getting a yearly physical and shot update, I really doubt that they will do anything with your reproductive organs.  They might just ask if you have any problems or questions.  Ask your mom to double-check for you what they're going to do.  At 14 with no problems, there should be no reason for them to do a pelvic exam or pap smear (both should be done by a gynecologist anyway, not your regular doctor).

They'll probably just test your reflex, listen to your heart, maybe press on your belly, look in your ears and nose and throat...nothing to be worried about.

  3. Talk to your mom and dad because they knows the best.

There are different types of exams. Some are basic like your shots, medical history, quick blood pressure, height, weight check, etc.

Some can be go as far as vaginal pelvic exams, full blood tests and a full physical exam. I don't know know what you sign up for... so... ask your parents.

    Don't be scared... be realx.

  4. well it depends wat doctor if a gyno then the might giv you a pap smear and pelvic exam but if its like your pediatrician then they will measure your height weight check your ears and nose they may take a blood sample but usually not and any shots that you need dont sweat it nothing will happen just a regular checkup and there will be no pain involved even if there is a shot or two you cant feel them=]dont worry and good luck

  5. if you aren't sexually active, and not on birth control pills, and you're not having any problems that would warrant a vaginal exam. Then they probably won't do one.

But when it does come time for one, (which may not be for years) don't worry, just breathe deeply and relax. It takes you longer to get undressed that for the doctor to the exam. They can explain everyting that's going to happen before they do anything. Is the doctor you are going to see a woman? Ask to go in by yourself, (without mom)and ask her these questions, she will be happy to explain.
