  1. don't be scared but you can get cramps

  2. its okay..! i got mine when i was 15 [I'm 15 now..]. some people get theirs when they're 9, or even 17. the normal is between 11-13. you're 14, so you should get yours soon, but its totally normal. just if you haven't gotten it by the time you are 16, you're supposed to go see a doctor. :) getting your period is kind of exciting when you first get it [at least I thought so..] because its like.. a stage every woman goes through, and now you're not a little girl anymore! its like you're a woman now.. its kind of a fun feeling. :) its not that bad actually...! some girls get cramps before their period, and their b*****s get sore and stuff. Use a hot pack on your stomach and lay down, it always helps me. If you need more than that, take tylenol, advil, or midol. And PMS... you'll feel mad/sad/excited/depressed/etc/etc/ETC all at the same time. :) its annoying, but if you eat right and get enough exercise, its gets a lot better! but... just have some pads ready. I suggest always ultra thin, or kotex thin, or stayfree. their all great. just have them tucked away in your bedroom for when it happens.

you defenitly don't have to be scared to get it! it happens to every girl at one point in her life, and its totally fine!! ask any woman for anything; your mom or somebody else you love-- they've been through it plenty of times and would love to help!! :)

    good luck!

  3. dude...don't't worry its not that abnormal not 2 get it at 14.I'mi'm 13 +I have it rite now(ironic right)... but u might want 2 start w. pads so u can get used 2 your bod n what happens 1st...n u really wont feel a thing when it happens so dont worry and it is a pain but not like in a sore way just because u have to take care of it.  now when u r 16 n still dont have it talk 2 a parent of teacher I NO THAT U DONT WANT 2 HEAR THAT PART AND ITS THE PART I HATE MOST BUT U HAVE 2 DO IT SOMEHOW.  AND U SHOULD(sry i accidently hit caps lol) embrace the fact that you are older now and that u are growing up when it does but that doesnt mean that u r not grown up now i guess(thats all bs i no but i just couldnt help it...sry...lol) but u really should try to not be scared or upset or worried...so ya...i hope that was enuf

  4. well everyone gets it... so it isn't weird. i haven't gotten one and I'm 12, but I'm glad because that means I'll be tall. but seriously it won't hurt, it just happens. It happens to everyone. so just have stuff in your locker in case (tampons, pads, underwear and shorts or something) hopefully though it won't happen in school. just don't worry! :)

  5. well i literally just got my first period today. and this morning when i got it i realized that i have to be miserable like this every month. the worse part was telling my dad the reason i had to go to the store (tampons) yeah, its difficult. and i had cramps all day. try buying some midol just so your prepared for that. buy some tampons and pads so your prepared.

  6. It's a pain the the neck but it's nothing to be scared of.  But if at14 you have not had a period you should see a doctor to see if everything is okay

  7. well every girl gets it....thanks to mother nature...l0l, but put it like this, every girl experiences different symptoms when they first start. i started in the 7th grade and i was also very scared. i got physically sick, and i couldn't go to school. I didn't eat much, i had cramps that made me cry myself to sleep. the only thing i could do was to take a hot bath. that really helped along with a heating blanket. there's also pills that can help with all that, so don't worry too much. your going to be ok. i hope this helped to give you a taste of what its like, but like i said all girls are different.

  8. you dont need to be scared...you sometimes get stomach aches or cramps but all you need is an advil and a heating pad and youll be alright. Its not as bad as you think trust me your just worried for nothing.
