In PE we had to do as many sit-ups as we could and I did 159. Minutes after I felt dizzy and dehydrated, I got water and the dizziness went away but the next day(Saturday) My abs we real sore, they are tight and I have pains in the bottom of my rib cage. Today is no better, This morning I could not walk without feeling pains and I cannot bend my back backwords if I do it is very painful. If I am on the ground I have to lift myself up with something near on the ground or roll over to my stomach so I can push myself up with less pain. My abs are still real tight and bothering me but it does not feel as bad as the bottom of my ribcage. I normally dont do a very big workout and Friday I kept going when I could go no more. What should I do?(please dont relpy go to the doc.)

  1. dude u passed your limit. nice job. ur just gaining muscle. no worries

  2. go take a poo. If u dont feel better than its just that muscles are growing.

  3. the exact same thing happened to me at soccer tryouts. even though i made the team, the workouts were hard and really tested my ability.. i put my all into running 10 miles.. doing pushups, etc. and it was for 8 hours straight. my entire body was sore.. it hurt to walk up and down the stairs.. i couldnt even bend down without my leg muscles shaking. if you do something your body isnt used to, it will react.. i guess its our bodys way of telling us not to force something huge onto it and work it out gradually instead.

i was almost about to take painkillers to relieve the pain.. but they are addicting after a few times and cause internal bleeding.. so i decided not to. the pain will go away in 3-4 days, trust me. all over body soreness went away in 4 days for me, so since its in your abs only it may take less time. simply go through your daily activities like you would, but dont stress it. if you plan to work your heart out during PE like that more times, i suggest you start working out regularly to get your body used to enduring the physical activity. just take simply 10mins per day for crunches/sit ups, etc. more is great. in a few months you'll see your abs more visible and more firm. good luck. =]

  4. cramps.... cramps...

  5. the pain just means that you were working your abs.

  6. Don't worry, it's just sore muscles. The best way to get rid of that pain is to do some more ab exercises. Try it and the pain will be gone.
