Im 14 and i want to get a job?

Well im 14 soon to be 15 (well kinda soon) and i want to get a job at a local store. But im not sure if i can get the job since im only 14. So im wondering if there is an age limit.

sometimes you can go to town hall, or even to your guidance counselor at school, and they will give you working papers.  You fill them out, your parents sign, and you bring them to anywhere you are trying to get hired at.  They usually have some rules with them, like the amount of hrs. per wk u can work, or how late you can work.  Check out local "hangouts." Like roller skating rinks, or bowling alleys.  Also, bagging at a supermarket.  Good Luck!

It really depends on what the job is and what state you live in. I'm 14 also and I have 2 wait 'till I'm 15 to get a job at this pet store that pays pretty decently, but maybe that's just a Texas law, idk...anyways good luck!!
