im 14 and i want to lose weight but i cant stay commited, like literally i will have lost 8 pounds in a week and then in two days gained it all back on by piggiong out because i didnt care anymore, and i keep doing this. How can i stay committed to losing my weight. And yes i actually need to lose my weight, im 240 lbs and age 14 and i wanna get atleast 70lbs off. I basically just need to find how to keep myself commited to losing it all.

  1. When you get sufficiently disgusted with yourself, only then will you be able to stick to a diet and exercise plan.

Until then, you can continue lying to yourself, setting unlikely goals, and yoyo-ing yourself into worse health than you have already.

Don't think of your goals as losing 70 lbs.  Think in more reasonalble and reachable terms: 3 or 4 lbs a month. Every month.

Before you know it... you'll be well on your way to improved health and nutrition.

  2. Maybe tell a friend, teacher, coach, or parent, and have them work with you to lose it. If you have someone asking what the scale said that morning, you might be more motivated to lose the weight.

  3. 14 and 240? omg!! never heard of that before.. can you walk?

  4. you'll never be committed if you only focus on losing weight cause it can't just happen over night, it takes months and years, its best if you have FUN!! just stay active and do things thats you enjoy and not the things you force yourself to do. So good luck to ya man!!

  5. get a personal trainer at the gym or joing a sport. get into jiu jiutsu

  6. Yes, it's amazing how you can want something so bad and have the power to do it. But you can't stay commited! That's like me and brushing teeth o_o

Uh, yeah, so, have a friend call you at a certain work-out time and have them threaten you if you don't work out.

Ask your mom/ or dad to take away your computer or cell phone...or whatever c**p you feel you can't live without. And have them not give it back until you work out.

You have to be commited....it's tough, but the best way. Don't rely on others. You owe this to yourself.

Fight for confidence. You can do it. You can do it. You can do it. SAY IT NOW OR I WILL KILL YOU UNTIL YOU DIE FROM IT!

  7. if you cant stay committed to something now you never will and might en up bein a  failure

  8. dont do any stupid diet, its about how those 70 lbs go off for good that matters, and not how you can just lose it,so change your lifestyle for good. dance, play sports and learn martial arts. avoid all sugary drinks, fastfoods and junkfoods..

  9. its all about dedication my friend. you need to set up discipline. losing weight means you are going to have to change your whole life style...its nothing you cant just do for a couple months and your fine for the rest of your life....its a long term thing.....want some motivation? just imagine how many girls your going to get!!
