  1. dont you have to have your license

  2. well i would go to your local motorcycle dealership and ask them what is a good bike for you size and weight and take it from there.

  3. I would start out with the 150 Honda, its a great bike and will definatly help you out when you out when you are ready to transition to the big bikes, two storkes are going outta style these days, but depending on what track you decide to race at make sure they have a class for the 150s  most do, but if they don't you could prolly ride the beginner 125 class with it.  Happy trails, hope you get a sweet ride

  4. When you get good enough to go racing, join the American Motorcyclist Associations, and become a member, you can't race unless you are. They do have a web site, http://ama-cycle.org They even have sign ups and rule books. They might even have the information on learning how and where.

  5. Go to your local off road motorcycle dealership and ask questions there. They will know about the places in your area and can help you get started.

  6. do you have a bike?

most importantly do you have parents that will support you?

if the answer is yes to both go down the the local dealer and have chat to them. they will be glad to direct you to the closest club.

    good luck have fun!

  7. ktm 125, KTM 144 or CRF 150

  8. well first go to a local track and check it out and see if its really what you want to do because its alot of money.  then if it is first you need a bike. if you have money to spend id start out on a 250 four stroke like a honda crf250 (what i ride). i got mine when i was 14 and it was my first bike too, was just fine on it.  you should be able to pick up a used 250 either locally or online for like 3500 (maybe less). or if you have less money to spend go with a cr125 you can get them for under 2500. they quit making them and alot of people are moving to 4 strokes so you can pick up a good deal. a 125 is still good so dont worry alot of people still ride them. after you get a bike just get a good helmet, and some gear.(www.motosport.com has good gear where i get mine) after you get all that just go ride.

  9. If you don't already belong to a club the first thing to do is find a local club and join up.

Go along to a race day and watch the racing to see if it is what you really want to do.  If yes then speak to the race secretary about how to get a race licence and race number allocated.  Also make sure you read up on race rules and flag rules so you know what to do when on the track.

While there have a look at some of the bikes in the sections you could ride for  your age.

You could start on a crf150r or if you think you are going to grow like crazy in the very near future and depending on what experience you have had on bikes you may be able to handle a 4 stroke 250cc. At 14 you would have a couple of years that you could race the 150r.  Ask a few of the locals what they think.

Make sure you get all the safety gear, Pants, Jersey, Helmet, Goggles, Shin guards, Elbow guards, Boots, Chest Armour, Gloves.  These are the basics.

Before you race attend as many practice days as you can so you get used to being on the track with bikes.

    Enjoy!

  10. well my son is 5ft and 80 lbs and rides a small wheel yz85

you would probably do well on a big wheel crf150r or 85 depending on your amount of skill and financial things you could look into a ktm 105sx     i hope this helps......

    good luck!:)
