  1. no you cant serve alcohol or sell it until you are 18 ... or 21 if your in the us. Why dont you try being a waitress at a reastraunt.

  2. No you can't as you're under age, maybe a job in a coffee shop will do the world of good, goodluck.

  3. No bar will ever hire an underage!!!

  4. No you can't.  You probably cannot work legally anywhere.

  5. To work you have to be 16.  To work in a bar, you probably have to be at least 18

  6. No, that's really not possible. Well, the legal age to work here is 16... and at 14, you can babysit, or like work at tim hortons (With parental authorization...)

  7. Nah, you can't legally serve alcohol under the age of 18, though that changes depending on where you are, but never near 14.

I'm 15 and I just got a job interview with Coles by applying on their website. Depending on where you live, you can easily get a job at one of those 'bigger' shops. Like Mcdonalds or Woolworths, or whatever.

Just go on their sites and apply. You'll get a job eventually.

    Good luck :]

  8. I've run bars and pubs for years, and no it's not illegal for you to work as a waitress in a bar (so long as you do not serve alchohol), BUT most responsible bar's will not employ people under 16 years old due to the clientele and nature of the business (it can be quite a rough place to work both mentally & physically).

The youngest I employed was a 17 year old.

  9. Try Babysitting or try doing community service.

  10. Nope.  You can't work in a bar legally.

Most state laws require any servers who serve beer and wine to be at least 18.  They require any servers who serve mixed drinks and hard liquor to be at least 21. If you aren't old enough to drink it, you aren't old enough to serve it.

In general, child labor laws require you to be at obtain a work permit to gain employment at 15.  Under 15 is pretty much unhireable except for babysitting or small, family owned businesses.  Labor laws restrict how many hours and what times a young teen can work.  It's usually too much trouble for managers to keep up with this so they just don't hire anyone under a certain age.

  11. Unfortunately most states require you to be 18 to serve alcohol.

You can prepare for that job now however.

Get a job in a fast food place or pizza joint.  By 18 you'll have a ton of experience and will find it easier to get hired!

    Good Luck!

  12. I'm not entirely sure where you live but since what i just read was english i'm gonna assume it's the same rules lol,

Well over here in England, the legal age to start working anywhere is 16, but in bars or any where that serves alcohol i'm pretty sure you have to be 18 or maybe even 21.

Sorry but there's no way you'll be accepted as a waitress at the age of 14, it's a pretty innapropriate place to work because of all the drunk and pervy guys that will be around you.

  13. No! you have to be 16 to work, but you have to be 18 to serve alcohol anywhere

  14. Well if you live in the UK you cant legally serve alcohol, but if its a bar/restaurant you can waitress. a friend of mine did because the place she worked at was a restaurant too But with most places you have to be 16.. You can work behind the bar in 4 years :)

  15. NO WAYYY ! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU ? A BAR .. EVERYONE HITS ON THE WAITRESS & A 14 YEARRR OLD IS YOUNG .

+ THEY WONT TAKE YOU UNTILL 18 .

YOU CAN WORK AT A STORE OR FAST FOOD PLACE AT 16 .

    BABYSIITTTINNGG ?

  16. 'im' is "I'm", 'possabile' is possible, 'idears' is "ideas."  Nowadays you do not need to know how to spell, but you at least need to know how to use the computer's Spell Checker.  What does you family think of this, whether or not you "can?"  But if you get a job as a waitress at a bar, if you are a 'virgin' you won't be by the end of your first night, and if you are not, I hope you have plenty of what the customers want, or the tips won't be worth your time, since food service employees aren't paid minimum wage!
