  1. Sounds like hemorroids to me, so stop stressing. Anyway if you have colon cancer in the family, then you should be having regular colonoscopy's done on a yearly basis.

  2. I had AML leukemia when I was 10 soooo...

  3. If you don't have a significant family history of colon cancer, It's likely a hemorrhoid and not colon cancer. If you want peace of mind though see a physician.  They can arrange for a colonoscope.

  4. No, blood when you wipe just means you wipe to hard or go to often, you need to calm it down a bit.

  5. I am 16yr old female, I have a good chance of having colon cancer, cancer somewhere else, that causes similar symptoms. I went to doctors and he said cancer in someone our age is virtually non-existant, and not to worry, and I will go in for more tests very soon. but I am worrying like crazy.

So it is possible but highly unlikely, you might just have polyps.

  6. Only about 5% of colon cancers are hereditary, if your mom was diagnosed in her 20s or 30s it may be in your family. Colon cancer in someone your age is very rare and almost unheard of. It is far more likely you have some other problem that is more common in someone your age such as Crohn’s disease, IBS, colitis, anal fissures, hemorrhoids, etc.  etc. Tell your mom and have her take you to the doctor who did her colonoscopy. Try not to worry and don’t be scared there are so many other things it probably is that are not nearly as scary as cancer.

  7. relax it might be something else but for now have it checked
