  1. Although you may be behind for your age, try dance. Don't let the advanced dancers your age discourage you. Use them as motivation to be as good as them in a shorter amount of time. Technique and strength will be you fall back. Passion and love for dance will carry you a long way!

  2. no as long as you love to do it, you should be fine.

  3. You're never too old, though it's better to start when you're younger so you can gain many years of experience. I'm 14 now, and I've been dancing for 8 years now, and I love it. So if you have a passion for ballet, then go for it.♥

  4. Ur not too old. My friend iz 18 and she does ballet. C'mon its fine. My friend just strted at age 18!!

  5. your never too old to do something you want to do! I had to join a ballet class at 18 as part of my figure skating tranning its tough when your older because you have to "teach" your muscles to become flexable (they are naturally felxable in childhood) but its very possible. Join and if you dont like it you can always quit

  6. absolutely not.go for it girl!

  7. You are never to old to do what you love.

  8. Find a beginners class or a teens ballet class ASAP. ballet is a great exercise and also a 'brainy' one. It's challenging and attracts perfectionists.

the feeling of a high after exrecise is SO great and ballet has the added bonus of being difficult and challenging.

What country are you in? Lists of teachers are usually available from teacher organistaion websites such as RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) or Cecchetti Socitey or IDTA or ISTD.

Find a class and start ASAP.

    Good luck

  9. Absolutely positively not!  I have people in my professional ballet company who started at your age, with only 3-5 years of experience.  Granted, they worked about six times as hard as anyone else to get to that level, but it's definitely possible, especially if you're not looking to go professional.

  10. No!!  If you want to do something go for it.  You may never have a chance again and you may always regret not doing ballet.

  11. You're never to old to follow your heart or your dreams. I say go for it. You have to just believe that you or not to old and that you can take ballet, and that you will someday get very good at it.

  12. Your never to old to do things. And ballet is deifantly not one. If you want to do something, then just do it. :)

  13. Well you're only getting older! If you want to start, then start. It would suck to be 20 and still be interested and be thinking "Man, if I started when I was 15 I would already have 5 years experience". Sometimes you find hidden talents by trying new things.  My cousin didn't pick up a golf club until he was in his 20's, ended up being really good, dropped out of college and went pro.  Never would have known if he hadn't started!

  14. no you are not too old unless you wanna start it professionally. but it will be hard for you to work on ballet and school because ballet is hard work! now go for it...

  15. Your never to old to try something new. Good for you and have fun.
